You are a caregiver if you provide care that helps a person who is frail, elderly, or disabled. As a caregiver, you may need to help your loved one with a broad range of activities, such as bathing, dressing, cooking and eating. If you are new to caregiving, you may be wondering what type of care your loved one or care recipient needs. A variety of community services are available to help the caregiver and the care recipient. The links and resources in this section will help you get started on your caregiving journey. You'll also find information specifically for grandparents who are raising grandchildren, and caregivers who are caring for someone with dementia.
