COA welcomes Stan Smith, Accounting Manager

Stan Smith joined COA on July 6 as the agency's new Accounting Manager.

Council on Aging is pleased to welcome Stanley (Stan) Smith as the agency's new Accounting Manager.  He began work at COA on July 6.

Smith is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati.

He comes to COA with a wealth of accounting, financial, and management experience. He served most recently as Controller for Talbert House after working as Regional Manager-Financial Reporting at Mercy Health Partners. His previous experience includes significant financial experience with non-profit, for-profit, and government organizations.

Smith brings strong leadership to COA's Accounting team and will be a valuable addition to the agency's Business Services Group.
